Key Bank
Client: Key Bank
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Size: 5,000 SF
This project involved transforming an unoccupied general office suite into a distinctively designed private banking center for a regional bank and financial services company. The design objective was to repurpose and refresh much of the existing infrastructure and finishes while creating an entirely new branded environment for the space.
Although modest in size at 4,300 square feet, the project proved to be complex due to the extensive coordination required among the tenant’s consultants—including security, low-voltage, A/V, and branding/signage specialists—in addition to the standard design and engineering team typically engaged on projects of this scale.
Clerestory windows were introduced along interior walls to bring natural light deeper into the space while maintaining client privacy. The open office zones were outfitted with flexible, low-profile workstations that preserve sightlines to the perimeter glazing and enhance the overall sense of openness.
