A successful and fast-growing, tech startup firm, Nutshell had quickly outgrown its offices.   A need for a highly-flexible space that could accommodate a three-fold employee expansion, the firm moved into a former movie theater and nightclub whose facade and interior had recently been renovated to house Oxford Companies’ new headquarters.

The blank canvas office space was transformed into a workplace with a bright, bold, fresh and simple palette of colors and clean lines.  Designed around a burgeoning Millennial tech workforce and to foster a creative environment, the open and collaborative office with hoteling workstations also includes a ping-pong table conference room, modern and comfortable lounging areas, a lunchroom and a lot of natural light.

The earlier facade work also dramatically transformed the building’s exterior.  The replacement of windows, use of lighter paint colors and the addition of colored wood paneling created a vertical presence with a warm and welcoming feeling that it had previously lacked.
